Unfortunately before I could lock the door again the human charged into the caverns. ![]() When I received the warning that he was dehydrated I unlocked the door to allow him back into the fort for a drink. He stayed down there for 3 months, wading through the blood and guts of the troglodytes he slew with his steel sword. Not having a way to order the dwarf back up to the fort I locked the door and left him to his fate. Eventually the dwarf went through the door into the upper caverns (I forgot to lock it). I accepted both and they stayed in the dining hall drinking for a while. Both petitioned to stay as monster slayers. In the winter of my first year there were two visitors to my fort, a dwarf swordsman and a human hammerman.
